I first became interested in the world of fashion my freshman year of high school. I have always been interested in clothes and styling, but these interests didn't become a reality until I took the Fibers class at Henry W. Grad, my first year and continued the course work throughout my senior year. Participating in the Fibers class provided me the opportunity to explore and develop my fashion skills and in doing so create two collections, my first as a junior and a second one my senior year. Une Belle Revolution is the fashion program at Grady which has provided me an amazing opportunity to explore my interests and develop a foundation of knowledge which I intend to cultivate into a career in the fashion industry. I love all things fashion, from designing to writing, and I can't wait to see what opportunities lay ahead for me.

I found my niche in communications/journalism and fashion- my goal is to combine these two passions as the primary fabrics of my career. I am in the midst of studying both, pursuing a BFCS in both Consumer Journalism and Fashion Merchandising at UGA in Athens, GA. I find both of these industries fascinating and challenging, and know I want to blend these interests so both can be integral to my professional life. I am open to all areas in these fields of study, and look forward to the adventure ahead.
